Having problems finding a lawyer that will work on a contigency fee? There is nothing more effective than a lawyer-to-lawyer referral under such circumstances.

The cost: FREE to you! That's right, there is no cost to the consumer. Why? Because if I can find you a lawyer or law firm to take on the case, they will pay my modest referral fee. Most people do not know this, but probably 90% of attorneys rely on some referral or advertising arrangement to get cases. It is just the cost of business (already built into the standard fees), and CA law actually prohibits any increase in the fees you will be charged because of the referral. So, why not use this to your advantage and get a lawyer to personally refer you to another lawyer?

Warning: In California, only an attorney or a certified referral service, licensed by the California State Bar, may legally refer your case for compensation.

Is there a catch? No - as long as you agree to this arrangement and I agree to take on the potential referral of your case. I will only try to help people in CA whose cases have substantial merit. Obviously, my services are only to try to find you a lawyer (there are no guarantees that I will succeed). Also, I will not represent you with regard to your case or legal issue, so don't expect me to provide legal services, draft or file documents, show up in court or whatever. These should be self-evident, but I better say them explicitly.

You must give me 30 days to try to find a lawyer that suits your case. If your case is time-sensitive (perhaps due to statute of limitations issues), you should continue your own search and cannot rely solely on me. I will do my best to find several qualified attorneys, so you have a choice and can make an intelligent decision. There is no obligation to sign up with any lawyer, and you are always free to do whatever you want.
